shower drain sofa adults on mum's lap helping Kel

From Surrey Hills, we went to great grandma for a lunch of fish and chips and travelled on to aunt Kelly in Bendigo. It was great to see her again and watch her bake me a pizza, while dad would hold on to me. I returned the favour by helping her with her washing. On Saturday night, we celebrated my first St Nicholas (sinterklaas). I got a large present, which proved to be a crab that could walk sideways when bashed on it's head: great fun. In between playing, I also found time to join the grown-ups on the sofa. I met up with her dogs for the first time and wasn't scared.

On the way back to Melbourne, we dropped daddy off at the airport - I did not realise that I wouldn't see him for five weeks, so I did not cry - and we returned to grandma in Koo Wee Rup. I was happy to help out with the washing again , also outside the house. Inside, I would entertain myself with unrolling the toilet roll, stepping over the legs of the dining table, sitting on mum's lap, or just playing with the drain in the shower. Mam had to do a scan here, but as grandma still had to go to teach her last week, I was hard work for mummy.

lawn bird bath granddad's lap

Bendoc
After ten days, my mother drove me up to Bendoc - no worries on the way out, I caught up on some sleep - where I met granddad again. I could lend him a hand restocking the firewood. After work, it was nice to relax on the lawn, where I would also entertain myself endlessly with the bird bath.

After a week, grandma and aunt Kel joined us for the traditional christmas celebrations, which in Bendoc includes a christmas gum tree and for me a big, scary present. There was plenty of time to play outside with grandma, who joined us after a week with aunt Kel, or give her a hand with weeding the garden. For some reason, I was no longer allowed to come close to the bird bath without wearing my full-length waterproof suit. The weather continued to be great so I could play outside with aunt Kelly and her big dogs (this one is Holly).
