While I had already seen some snow over easter, it did not stay. However, on the 6th April, we got loads of snow, which was good fun for me and dad. Next time, he'll make me a snowman. Normally, when he gets home from work I only get a small cuddle. We got many more visits by my mum's friends Karyn, Suuz and Bex. When I'm alone and awake, my mum tries to make me play on my tummy or my side on auntie Jo's quilt: I look at my toys, but I haven't figured out what to do with them yet.

What did I do in the rest of April? Well, I got used to my mother kissing me
and I grew enough to fit into my party suit. Will you bring me
a bottle? I got used to sleep through a mid-night
nappy change, so that I have enough energy in the morning to participate in
my parents' sleep-in and to play on
my tummy.
My father celebrated his 40th birthday on Saturday 19th. For a change, my parents held the party from 2pm till 9pm. The party got off to a slow start, but when it got going, there were more kids than I had seen in my life before. I was happy to be the centre of attention, at least most of the time. I was happy to see Laura again, my three weeks younger friend.
The weather became good enough to explore the terrace; it was my first time outside. My parent either kept watch over me or watered the plants. Inside, I keep admiring mobiles, and my parents friends Jill, through whom they apparently met, and Johanna, who came all the way from Texas. Finally, for the first time, my parents saw me doing something that, from a distance, resembles coordinated hand movements.
